Parks
Glasgow maintains three town parks open to the public. All are free to use; some areas can be reserved for events.
Centennial Park
Intersection of Blue Ridge Road and McCulloch Street
Benches and a memorial to Frank Padget, an African-American boatman who died in 1854 while rescuing passengers from a stranded canal boat in the James River.
Knick Field
Intersection of Blue Ridge Road and Rockbridge Road
Softball field, basketball courts, playground, two pavilions, and horseshoe pits.
Locher Field
End of 9th Street
A large pavilion with a stage and a small pavilion, suited to community events and family gatherings.

Park rental and reservations
Parks and facilities are available to rent for special events. Applications, reservations, and payments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. To reserve, contact Town Hall at (540) 258-2246 or stop by to pick up an application in person.
