Town Manager

The Town Manager is the chief administrative officer of the Town of Glasgow, appointed by and reporting to the Town Council. The Town Manager’s duties include responsibilities that in a larger locality would be assigned to specific personnel: administration, budgeting, planning, zoning, public works coordination, and community development.

What the Town Manager does

  • Implements policy and direction set by the Town Council
  • Prepares the annual Town budget for Council adoption
  • Supervises Town staff and departments
  • Coordinates with regional, state, and federal partners
  • Represents the Town in day-to-day matters with utilities, contractors, and intergovernmental agencies
  • Serves as the Town’s Freedom of Information (FOIA) officer

Office hours

Town Hall is open Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (closed 12:30 – 1:30 for lunch).
