The Glasgow Planning Commission makes zoning and planning recommendations to the Town Council on matters related to the orderly growth and development of the town. Its responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing site plans and special use permits
  • Recommending re-zonings to Council
  • Drafting and updating the zoning ordinance
  • Developing the Town’s 5-Year Comprehensive Plan
  • Developing the annual 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan
