Contact

The Public Utilities Department operates Glasgow’s drinking-water and sewer systems. The Town draws water from local wells, treats it to meet all Virginia Department of Health and EPA standards, and distributes it to approximately 600 service connections within the town limits.

What we do

Pay your bill

Pay online at our bill-pay portal, in person at Town Hall, by mail, or via the drop box outside Town Hall. Bills are due on the 25th of each month.

Report a water main break or sewer back-up

During business hours, call (540) 258-2246. After hours, call the same number — the on-call operator monitors voicemail and responds to emergencies. For active flooding from a broken main, also call 9-1-1.

Water quality

The Town publishes an annual Consumer Confidence Report describing the quality of its drinking water. Copies are available at Town Hall and on this site when published. To request the most recent report, contact the Town Clerk.
